What Makes MenaQ7® The Best Form of Vitamin K2?
MenaQ7® Vitamin K2 was created from a desire to substantially impact people’s health through all stages of life. Years of clinical research have established safe and effective health benefits, and these findings have been validated, published in respected peer-reviewed journals. Still today, all industry claims for Vitamin K2 as MK-7’s bone health benefits in children and adults and cardiovascular health benefits in adults stem solely from the clinical validation of MenaQ7®.
It's really hard to tell if a supplement is doing what it's supposed to do, since it is difficult to factor out other diet/exercise regimens, but I started taking this to help with post-workout recovery, as I was having muscle spasms. This really seems to be helping, as I haven't had any spasms since a week after I started taking this supplement. I'm glad to find the K2/D3 combination, as D3 is hard for the body to use without K2 as a helper for absorption.
Seems pricey for a 30 day supply. And skeptical of the semi-synthetic gel caps
A new trend is to get away from traditional veg caps, and use capsules that are partially made from synthetic materials. I am a bit skeptical.
Otherwise this supplement is fine, it's got 5,000IU of Vitamin D and a good dose of synergistic K2. Pills are small and easy to swallow.
My only complaint is that it seems pricey. I typically get vitamin D in liquid drops - my favorite brand is Seeking Health, and for the same price I can get a dropper that has 900 servings, or a D3 + K2 combo that has about 90 servings of 5,000IU (not 30 servings). So these pills are about 3x what I would normally pay, and I find the dropper a lot more convenient, and easy to sneak into foods.
D3 has been proven to be one of the best vitamins you can take. But when it's teamed up with K2 it's even better. The two work together to keep a body healthy. D3 is so good for bones and brain health too as well as K2. I really like that the two vitamins are combined into one capsule. This bottle of D3/K2 is a two month supply with only one capsule/day as the recommended dosage. I think this is an excellent supplement.
