This really helps with my restless legs at night. I make a hot tea every night before bed, so I just put it in there. Don't notice a difference in the taste so that is nice.
I use magnesium at night. It helps me relax and fall asleep. This powder dissolves well and works as expected but drinking before bed tends to make me get up during the night to use the bathroom. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.
I tried Magnositol PM twice so far. The 1st time it worked great, the 2nd time I think it made me even more awake than I was before I took it. Will keep trying it though as the 1st time went so well.
I've been taking magnesium citrate powder in my smoothies for awhile now. But, what I've noticed is that it doesn't dissolve well in just water. You need to blend it. This stuff, it just disappears in water. I mix a tsp of it in a measuring cup of water, and it dissolves nicely. The taste is nice too. It's got a slightly sweet flavor, and not chalky like magnesium citrate. As for sleep. I feel like this helps me. I've taken inositol capsules a long time ago, and I still have a bottle of the stuff. I remember taking it for cognition though, and not sleep. So, this is interesting to me.... I dunno, I didn't think it would help with sleep. But, all in all, I feel like this helps. I take it with another sleep product, and I've been taking that stuff for awhile now. That stuff works amazing. It just knocks me right out, and generally keeps me asleep. But, I feel like this stuff helps me to stay asleep for longer, which is my usual biggest problem. In the week I've been taking this stuff, I haven't gotten up much.
This "Magnositol" is a blend of magnesium and inositol that you mix with a liquid and drink. Pretty self-explanatory. It's not necessarily a sleep aid for every person - some people respond well to magnesium and it helps them sleep better. For others, not as much. I'm not sure if it works for me...can't really tell to be honest, but I usually sleep relatively well.
